Continued… Part 2 of 2
Me, Ms. Krystal Joseph & Ms. Priya (one of my father senior members of his Franklin Joseph Krav Maga Self Defence Academy, Bengaluru) in our Power To Women Corporate Self Defense Workshop for Google Cloud’s Women Techmakers and entrepreneurs came across some girls/women who were so scared when we mentioned we were going to teach them Krav Maga Israeli Military Self defense, that they started walking backwards. We (Krystal & Priya) were not 6 feet tall muscular men but we were nearly the same size, age and body structure as most of these women.
So why were they so scared? In our experience, most of these girls were not confident about their physical structure i.e., they believe they are not strong enough or have the physical size, strength or right age to do self defense or they assumed there would be physical stunts or jumps of martial arts & they can’t do those too. Our Krav Maga Israeli Military Self Defense does not have martiala arts stunts or tricks. Krav Maga Israeli Military Self Defense is not even dependent on physical strength, size or age of the practitioner. Once we convinced them of these facts, they were very warm and welcoming to the knowledge we were providing them. Few of them even took selfies with us 🙂

- She has participated in a number of capsules with other trainees, including the Anti-Assault Capsule in September 2018 and the Shiv Weapon Capsule in February 2020.
- Ms. Krystal led multiple online training sessions for Bengaluru-based children, women, and men during the Covid pandemic.
- Krystal Joseph served as the primary trainer for Mr. Kautak's Krav Maga Self Defense course in Dharwad in the month of August and September 2021.
